Addressing Big Data Challenges with Hybrid-Core Computing

SESSION: Heterogeneous Computing I

EVENT TYPE: Exhibitor Forums

TIME: 2:00PM - 2:30PM

Presenter(s):Kirby Collins

ROOM:155-B

ABSTRACT:
The spread of digital technology into every facet of modern life has led to a corresponding explosion in the amount of data that is stored and processed. Understanding the relationships between elements of data has driven High Performance computing beyond numerically intensive computing into data intensive algorithms used in fraud detection, national security, and bioinformatics. In this session Convey Computer will present the latest innovations in Hybrid-Core computing, and describe how high bandwidth, highly parallel reconfigurable architectures can address these and other applications with higher performance, lower energy consumption, and lower overall cost of ownership compared to conventional architectures.
