Leveraging PEPPHER Technology for Performance Portable Supercomputing

SESSION: Research Poster Reception

EVENT TYPE: Posters and Electronic Posters

TIME: 5:15PM - 7:00PM

SESSION CHAIR: Torsten Hoefler

AUTHOR(S):Christoph Kessler, Usman Dastgeer, Mudassar Majeed, Nathalie Furmento, Samuel Thibault, Raymond Namyst, Siegfried Benkner, Sabri Pllana, Jesper Larsson Traff, Martin Wimmer

ROOM:East Entrance

ABSTRACT:
PEPPHER is a 3-year EU FP7 project that develops a novel approach and framework that enhances performance portability and programmability of heterogeneous multi-core systems. Its primary target is single-node heterogeneous systems, where several CPU cores are supported by accelerators such as GPUs. With this poster we briefly survey the PEPPHER framework for single-node systems, and elaborate the prospectives for leveraging the PEPPHER approach to generate performanceportable code for heterogeneous multi-node systems.
