SCHEDULE: NOV 10-16, 2012

When viewing the Technical Program schedule, on the far righthand side is a column labeled "PLANNER." Use this planner to build your own schedule. Once you select an event and want to add it to your personal schedule, just click on the calendar icon of your choice (outlook calendar, ical calendar or google calendar) and that event will be stored there. As you select events in this manner, you will have your own schedule to guide you through the week.

ABSTRACT:
ParaView is a powerful open-source turnkey application for analyzing and visualizing large data sets in parallel. Designed to be configurable, extendible, and scalable, ParaView is built upon the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) to allow rapid deployment of visualization components. This tutorial presents the architecture of ParaView and the fundamentals of parallel visualization. Attendees will learn the basics of using ParaView for scientific visualization with hands-on lessons. The tutorial features detailed guidance in visualizing the massive simulations run on todays supercomputers and an introduction to scripting and extending ParaView. Attendees should bring laptops to install ParaView and follow along with the demonstrations.
